The dynamic page layout states:
- The page layout should be defined in db
- One PageType might have 0 or many Forms
- One form might have 0 or many controls
- one pagetype might have 0 or many listing controls
- one pagetype might have 0 or many menus
At least now I do have proto ... Jee is nice to see when the GUI is changing on a request without recompiling ... after pagelayout metadata has changed in db ...
So why the ... is it so important ?! Who cares ?!
In 5 years round trip to db will cost NOTHING ... the scalability in the cloud will cost nothing ... since the CLOUD WILL offer scalability ... , BUT ...
scalability in software developement WILL BE the most expensive part
and the above principle is a proof of the fact that this is the right direction.
Who cares ?! One day somebody might ... ; )
